The
Hungarian Viktor Kassai will referee Real Madrid's game against
Wolfsburg at the Santiago Bernabéu, corresponding to the Champions
League quarter-final second-leg (Tuesday, 8:45pm, CEST). It will be the
fourth time that the official has overseen a match involving Real Madrid
in Europe's elite club competition. The first was Real Madrid-Bayern
Múnich (2-1), in the semi-final second leg in the 2011/2012 season. The
second, Borussia Dortmund-Real Madrid (2-1), in the 2012/2013 group
stages, and the most recent was Real Madrid-Liverpool (1-0), in the
2014-15 group stages.
